The last piece of Humanity in me

The last piece of Humanity in me

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu
"

A shot at a moral poem... :)

"

I have in me a silent altruism
a last piece of humanity
What resides somewhere in me,
Obliged with stillness and tenderness,
The light which from the holy lantern does shine.

That love and time might at last find
The lustre of my heart's transparency
A human life betwixt immortal ideas,
The mortal liabilities craving perfect conceptions.

My human ignorance does impede
My universal perception of faith and wherewithal
As my satanity overtakes my soul
I fade like a rainbow robbed of its colors.

I hope for a whisper from the almighty
So this aching heart could become potent with a fiery bliss
That shall enshrine itself to harmony
in every cell, of every kind.
