A Blank Note

A Blank Note

A Poem by Balkaran Sidhu

Without you, those pages  are completely blank
those poems stand for nothing
they flicker in the past ruminations
As if a cloud of sorrow
ruling the silence of the sky.

Where I have written your name
Accused for too much tenderness
I feel it hard to pronounce your name
even after all those years of constancy
But this mystic fragrance keeps me alive.

Through your days of misery
It was my heart,that breathed
to change the winds that ruined us
The sun melting our solidity
As a touch, through tender fields of sand.

Arched in undulating confessions,
proposals made in sweet everglades
How sweet are the poems?
that bring us together again
in the reality of my virtual world.

You wouldn't dare to embrace my words
But put them beneath your pillow
Soak them in your occasional tears
Visualize them in immortality of my passion
I won't disappoint your silken ed heart

Here is a spoon of serendipity
Where our deepest solitude mixes
With our narrow attempts at love
To bleed over the secrets I penned for you
I might not give up those dying hopes.

Sometimes the voice you write in is so supernatural in a gorgeous way.
For me, words like this raise the quality of communication to the heights.
Every line you write is food for contemplation.
You are the master of atmosphere and emotion.
Always going just that little bit farther, leaving the reader one last inspiring thought.
Which I found in the words...I might not... on the last line of this outstanding work.

You're welcome!
''It was my heart, that breathed '' would seem like a fitting title. I love this, very well written my friend. Your words speak true, fantastic! Keep up the great work. My favorite lines are,
''You wouldn't dare to embrace my words
But put them beneath your pillow
Soak them in your occasional tears''
