SoldierA Poem by Brianna
Glistening stars, gave them hope for tomorrow
Winding winds gave them whispers of sorrow. Rolling hills of green jungle grass, Soaring birds over ocean mass. Bombs rain down, gunfire pours all around. The end is near, but not this year. Tears run down broken faces, Silence throughout many places. Tombstones planted in the ground, Nothing makes a sound. Where they are buried forever, or never found. © 2015 BriannaAuthor's Note
