Forever Gone?

Forever Gone?

A Poem by Barry
"

Are you, forever gone?

"
Don’t drift to far away,
and tell me that you’ll please stay.
I don’t want it to end this way,
tell me that you’ll please stay.

I have searched far and wide,
looking for reasons I cant find,
to convince myself that you aren’t gone,
cry myself to sleep in the early dawn.

But I have had no luck,
I’ve been completely and utterly fucked.
You said I ruined what could have been forever,
but I’m telling you now, I would never.

So if you go,
do it real slow,
I want to spend every second I can with you.
And as we cry,
don’t forget to say goodbye,
and smile, because we’ll see each other again.

Don’t leave me,
I’ll die without you.
I need you baby,
and you don’t have the slightest clue.

I’ve fallen off track,
and there’s no turning back.
I’ll never be the same,
and I’ll never forget your name.

So if you go,
do it real slow,
I want to spend every second I can with you.
And as we cry,
don’t forget to say goodbye,
and smile, because we’ll see each other again.
