Chemistry test

Chemistry test

A Story by Frederik Larsen

Forty-five minutes until the chemistry-test inaugurates. I feel confident, but I am never careless. I know that being overconfident is an erroneous thing to be, and it will do nothing, but lead one to failure.

Chemistry is a tough subject, but my class-work and tests always seem to be satisfactory. I am not an ingenious nor talented chemist, I am just well-prepared.

I do not like the subject chemistry. In fact, I abhor it. I find it boring and senseless. The teacher is decent, but we never do anything exciting or intriguing.

The test has now begun. I begin scrutinizing the test. My confidence starts ascending while examining the test " I know all the answers, I studied this.

After answering all the questions, I return to the first page of the test and start looking over my answers carefully. I seem to have answered them all logically. The test had not been as hard as I anticipated.

I pick up my bag, and return the test-paper to my teacher. I wish my teacher a happy holiday, as I leave the classroom.
