Skeleton in the Closet

I wake up alone,
covered in snow.
Everyday I lay here with no place to go.
It feels as if I am wasting away,
into this eternal shade of grey.
With no where to turn,
and no one to love,
I stay here,
hoping that tomorrow never comes.
Just endless darkness,
I feel overcome.
I'm falling apart,
as if I'm made of dust.
A skeleton.
Trapped with no place to call home.
My fears don't sleep,
They are starting to consume me.
It's as if all that I am
And all that I've become
Are forever forgotten,
In this land of doubt.
So as I lay here,
so cozy in my grave.
I go to sleep,
Without even caring,
That I have missed another day.

there comes a time in everyone's life where they find themselves in a dark place. Depression is a terrible thing. It does things to people.
