TornadoA Poem by BeccaI was inspired to write this by a story my biology teacher told during class. Hope you guys like it.
From a distance,
I saw Him coming. He being the big ol' tornado. I wasn't filled with fear, But with excitement. He was a nasty one. Bringing big ol' wind along with him. I laughed as I watched from a distance. As He tore apart houses, And took away anything it could touch. I waited for it to touch me. Reach me. I dared Him. Laughed at Him. I closed my eyes as He drew near, Let my arms spread wide And flew in His wake. I was laughing, Filled with joy. Who knew where I was going to land. I didn't care
