Graduation

Graduation

A Poem by Becca

Dear fellow Eastridge students,
To graduate is one of our many goals.
To finally be on our own as adults.
Fellow classmates of 2012,
I hope we all make the best of our lives.
To fulfill all the goals we set in stone.
To achieve greatness of our own needs.
Many of us were friends from the start.
Many of us gained new friends as the years went on.
We made friends for life,
Friends for now,
Enemies for life,
And enemies for now.
College is the next step for many.
Then a family and a well paying job.
I hope to see you all again.
As 2012 is ending near,
We must cherish the memories we have.
Make the best of what we have now
And get ready for a new life on our own.
Fellow classmates of 2012,
Please, do not forget the lessons we learned
Here at our beloved Eastridge.
It was our home for a few years,
Now our next home is where you decide.
Do not forget to cherish what we had.
Friends for life, caring teachers,
And supporting classmates.
So as 2012 ends,
We can proudly say we did it,
We graduated as a class.
2008 to 2012, four years in a high school.
I am proud to say I graduated with an amazing class.
So congratulations to the class of 2012!

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
