Three Empty Words

To love is to give.

To give is to love.

I have no love to give.

No giving in return for love.

Do not tell me you love me

Because those three words

Are filled with emptiness.

You cannot give love if you do not mean it.

So why do you keep giving?

In return you get the same emptiness.

Love is meant for greatness.

Not for your pleasure of saying it.

So when you say you love someone,

Please mean it!
