A Poem by Rebecca Leigh

The battle begins
Between me and the demon
The demon of contentment of loneliness,
When silence reigns,
And all feels sallow
It is easy to feel alone in this,
A soldier of one,
Till the job is done
And triumph is his,
The one who fought with heroics,
He sings his victory in a song,
A tale of wrestling,
Like the Arch Michael,
Except I am only a vessel,
He was an Angel,
I have not been where he has gone

Sometimes, we all have to walk along the winds, no matter what. If we dare to breakthrough the storms to blowing opposite to the winds, then we feel the power of lightening ov`r the shells of heart in disguise of aches which get brought to the heart by love. Sad but very thoughtful piece of art!
