Losing the sleep so needed
But not wanting to fall into the serene quality
Of an everlasting nightmare

Sleep Deprivation CurseA Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.I sometimes wonder why I wrote this one . I don't remember it . I was abusing myself too muchLooking around not able to stand Too weak to make a move Mind like grains of drifted sand Blowing away till all the throughts are gone Not wanting to sleep Or to eat or to drink The giddyness of being lightheaded The flying of walk Feeling all so powerful without it But you always will need it You don't ever want it But you will succumb to it soon Feeling the energy drain The giddyness washed away To the beaches of being lost Being swept away in the waves of dreams Waking up screaming All covered in sweat To repeat the process And end with distraught © 2011 Miss Marie Riorden.Author's Note
