In Death's Clutches

In Death's Clutches

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Teaches them to leave me home alone

"

My aim is never too precise, it always misses

And now i'm looking for more than just the razor's kisses

They aren't enough to suffice the pain

And stop those tears that run like rain

I wish they were, I'll tell you so

But off to death's door I must go

I have finally left what's a bloody mess

Can you not tell from the crimson stains on my dress

I've started finally to use this knife

Cleaves my soul and ends in strife

I don't care, no longer for life

I'd rather not have a husband, I'm not a wife

Don't try to stop me, pathetic attempts don't work

But behind this darkness, happiness does lurk

Sweet kisses, sweet kisses, always so sharp

My heart's been played like the sweetest of harps

Sing with me, sing with me, this demented lullaby

Away from death's clutches maybe I will fly

I'm going to address this right now. I do take Read Requests, but that DOES NOT mean you need to RR me everything you write. And I do not read stories unless it's of my own free-will. So do not RR the.. more..
