Falling Asleep In Class

I was REALLY tired when i wrote this. Running on like an hour and a half of sleep. o:

My eyes are feeling leaden
As my pulse begins to deaden
And my eyelids begin to droop
While my posture starts to stoop
My brain is starting to fall asleep
As upright in my class I try to keep
These subjects keep on boring me
And My dreams are more tempting, you see
For I am so sleep deprived
That I finally think that death has arrived
Because I do not ever feel so awake
And to the bed I must take
One hour, two hour, three hours, four
If only with that I could get more
Every night a restless turn
Images in the back of my mind begin to burn
The nightmares that will plague my dreams
Are all that I can think about, it seems
And the more I think about it
The more I wish my light was lit
Because being in the dark so ever alone
Jumping at every sound, scratch, or moan
Wishing I had someone to hold onto
Even though it is way past my curfew
So I will sit here another night
Waiting for something to finally go right
Maybe finally sleep will take me in its’ warm hold
Without all the monsters, and the everlasting cold
And finally I will start to doze
And I will awake in this pose
Looking up at an angry teacher in class
You know, falling asleep in class is a pain in the a*s

"Falling Asleep In Class" By ~Bed Head~
Who hasn't had a chance to catch up on some long over due, ZZZ's in the boring classroom. *Stupid boring teachers* Ha ha. We all need sleep, and we all need to be taught, but put them together, and we learn to sleep, or we learn how to scream! OoO. {Some teacher's hurt... }
