The Pain In Your Heart

Another sonnet... this one is better since it follows more rules?

Holding back through everything I've ever been known to be

Grasping a concept of pain that can't be contained within

Soulless, contaminated, something that hurts you and me

Creating a void so deep in you filled with darkest sin

Soundless screams break through the air, agony to overwhelm

Feeling more and more lost as you seek blindly through the mind

A hidden land of hurt and suffering, a secret realm

That only wishes for love, for that someone to be kind

One that's broken their way not to be found, a true dead end

There's no such thing as turn backs, sadly somewhere else to run

Away from the demons that are here without one good friend

From the devoid placement of a world with no shining sun

In captures of twisted reality, a  hurting heart

One that has been broken, and shattered from the very start
