I AM DONE

i am but a sacrificial lamb

I have trouble understanding
Life can be so demanding,
And I am at my end.

I have tried to do my best,
But I am just like all the rest,
I can no longer pretend

I have been stricken down
I have lost what I have found.

The world has forsaken me
I can no longer see,
I can no longer take a stand.

Forgive me for my wrongs
Do not miss me for I am Not.

Know that I am done
I have lost for what I fought.

Dear world be true,
Never make my friends blue,
Don’t blame them for me.

Don’t harm what is right
Don’t dim their life’s light
Let them forever be free.
