The light

Like in Romeo and Juliet, losing a lover causes you to do crazy things. But having to watch the light leave there eyes can cause you to do even crazier things.

She looks around

At all the blood

She can feel it dripping off her skin

She holds her breath

And grips the knife tight

She knows that she gonna die tonight

The stars are bright

The moon is full

She knows it will be the last thing she will see

As she lies in her bed and waits for death

Her life appears before her eyes

All the good and all the bad dont matter anymore

Because its over and shes free from all her teenage misery

And thats when it hits her

As light fades in her eyes

Im only a kid

A kid that will die because I saw the light leave his eyes
