“And the Bible says!”: in the book of John, Chapter 3: verse 16 reads: “For God so Loved the World that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever Believeth in Him Should not perish but have everlasting Life!” “Amen Preacher!” “Preach Pastor!” cried out the church members in the congregation of the “Great Everlasting Praise M.B.C. as Pastor Matthews was giving his morning sermon.

Richie Notices Bella

Across the Sanctuary, on the right-hand side of the Church sits Richie and his Homeboy Stanley. Richie happens to keep glancing over where Bella and her Best Friend Sheila were sitting. Sheila happens to notice his glance. “Bella Girl!” “I think Richie likes you!” “He keeps staring at you!” says Sheila. Isabella Lyn Matthews but her friends call her “Bella” a very shy, innocent young lady that was raised upright by her parents. Her Father the Pastor Willard Benjamin Matthews and mother First Lady Sis. Catherine Grace Matthews. Isabella didn’t pay Sheila any attention. She was too busy trying to listen to her father’s sermon. Richard Leon Ward a.k.a. “Richie” Tall, dark and handsome; is what you would call a ladies' man. Well, more like a player because he plays women like a fiddle. He gets what he wants out of them and then he bounces! Richie has been in the game for quite some time now. Well, Richie has turned over a new leaf ever since he has given his life to Christ, He is a Changed Man, and he has his eyes set on Bella. The sermon was concluded, and Pastor Matthews says, and now the Doors of the Church are now open! As the congregation stood the Choir started singing softly, “There’s room at the cross for you!” Upon this, three had walked down the aisle to join. There were two candidates for baptism and one Christian experience. After the three visitors joined, the benediction was given by Pastor Matthews. Pastor Matthews and First Lady Sis. Catherine Matthews stood toward the exit as the congregation slowly made their way toward the exit. They were shaking hands, giving out hugs and bidding everyone would have a Blessed week. “God Bless everyone!” “If the Lord says the same and the creek don’t rise! We’ll see y’all next Sunday!” “But don’t forget, we have Bible Study on Wednesday Night!” says Pastor Matthews! “Pastor Matthews!” “Says Sis. Carol!”, I was indeed blessed by your sermon on this morning! “Why thank you Sis. Carol!” Pastor Matthews replies, and Sis. Matthews! You know you wearing that Navy blue suit and Hat go ahead then! Thank you, Sis. Carol! Now you have a blessed week! And you the same says Sis. Carol. Says Sis. Matthews.
