Building

Building

A Poem by Ben

A blueprint and the workers
The builder the buyer the raw materials
The technology
Nature winning and staying always ahead of science

The natures of our natures
2nd nature thought as first
Simplistic in who I am
Appearance, what I look like
How I come across conceit, what I think about myself
The impression I give
All from one thing

This present moment
My breathing
Without bulky awareness
With innate dexterity

Spontaneity, a fresh look
A natural change adaption evolution
Contradictions welcome, spectrums edited
Interconnected inter-lapping

Unimportance meets weightiness
Unconcerned meets sincere
Frolicking grazing meets focus

My modern castle in suburban neo-post-christiondom
Not without the help of impersonal fellow citizens
Not without the sacrifice people made for earning pesos, yuan, or rupees
Not quite with you in your bubble of the matrix and the movies

The real-life horror scope
Accepted less than persisted through
Is it their ignorance or mine
That larger empires concocted unaccountability through accountants

The old are vs the young
Or is this still a part of divide and conquer
They are ashamed, or should be
The weight reality and karma won't fully succomb to your trillion dollar PR industry, you know
So I'll abstain from a castle and a great big loan
I'll let them fill out their classes and suck a*s 365
To try to gainer a promotion of perhaps another 3-7 k this year to bring to that home
To try to bring to the international tax system, resource burning system
Renewable resource number one controlling system

It's illegal to do anything or make anything of value and not pay taxes in the process
This forgotten law might as well be a commandment, no we take this law more seriously
But it is so much second nature, like no people ever traded goods or bartered crops without including England or Rome, or Engrome

The strenuous tight rules to counting money and looting and being a crook about the world
The rules to the game we have all figured out
The natural science we have all approached and decided on
Idiosyncratic guileless eccentricity showing through
All these hang-ups
Can they rot to set-backs
Can they rust to regrets

You have to decide on something
You can't be all ways
And just don't think that karma isn't mental
Limiting ourselves and choosing fates in a way that is almost mystical
So revved up so intensely wrapped up economic headway

Listen, isn't the thing to know about money
That their is only available money versus captital
So it should be no hard task then, to see
How this all works, most of us so drivel for trinkets
And hollow status symbols
Most of us inheriting the marketing 20th century or the christiandom dozen before
It's all shackles, even the 21st century version, served on plastic baked by machines
Pop version of the real thing, no it's better when you have unhealthy sustenance to not realize what your eating

Unless awareness or the right question as they say is 50% and obvious to follow
All I'm saying is getting caught up in all of it out there
Like us 90s people I'm thinking all breathed
It's good to unplug from that
And at a slower wavelength
Market to yourself
The sacred element of the world that's already there
The serene joy of a not uptight spirituality
The purchase is not so plain, hardly as straightforward

Find a suitable blueprint and add to it adjust it or change it
According to the air
The environment
And what is second nature for a culture
What is un-second-guessed

Couldn't anything be that way
It requires extra effort to truly contain sympathy
Because after all, we all go our own way, and all die alone
We all feel our own pain and that excusable
But when we all have our own pre-occupation in coins
Like on some addictive video game
We forget to enjoy the moment and listen to it
And open our eyes, always keeping them open
Close them for 60 seconds quietly then open them again
Take a new look at this vista
Gander at now

It's free, the parks the grandeur you can't, you don't have to own it
The border between my 2,000 ft castle with its hedge or fence, is only that stable
As a basic lock is only good enough to keep an honest man honest
These lines in going in to another yard,
Yard after yard might keep us from the universe
If you take their border, and containment, and temporary legality over-seriously
We can't take one penny with us
Not your favorite jewel or your old iPhone
You can take none of those things you strive after attaining, for the road
If you still have you memories
And you still have spiritual pursuits in a ephemeral heart
And your soul and mind in some part fail to dissolve with your body and name among people
Then those memories, of the same shape, plus two parts dream, as they are now
Are all that You'll have
What are the best parts of your memories
We're they really things
We're you really able to shadow out your identity
Like everyone else, with that commercial fickle proud identity based so much on your things?
