Climbing

Climbing

A Poem by Ben

It's that you tried your best
That's all that matters
Don't get caught up in the arguments
Or become dismayed by different terms
Passionate opinions and
The sides of the fence of the dispute

Love people,
And the karma of that habit
Will help you love yourself
If you try your best
To understand
To be happy
To seize the day in some way

Cause what more could there be
It contains and encompasses everything positively
I did my best, he did his best, she did her best

When we all turn on each other
Monitor, play games with, and police each other..
Restrict each other
Doubt, rat out one another

The Solemn soulless plasticized zombie likeness to mainstream
Hold me up to your flimsy egos radiation
Shine your light on me fill me in to what toxicity you are an agent for
That I am missing

So unwelcome here
Without the tainted, degenerate deprivation or absence
Without our shackles
You may not with us walk

It's when people love their disease that it is a disease
A plague of unscrutinized habits, traditions and memes in second-nature
