You and Me and the Crowd

You and Me and the Crowd

A Poem by Ben

Sometimes happiness and sadness are the same thing

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes happiness is just happiness and sadness is just sadness

But floating through this possession of serenity under beams of clear moonlight

I see the holes in my sight

Happiness is sadness, because of those things we could have turned in to delight

Everything must be perfect-  must be given up

Yet in an increment’s difference we may have faith

Every day

To shape, ourselves

The way we want to be made

Smile

Be happy when its time to be happy in proportion

And be sad when its time to be sad, in due degree and measure

But when it’s a choice, or can be, tend to..  find yourself choosing wisely
