The climb

I have fallen in a hole,

it is so dark.

the darkness, it eats you alive!

There's no where to go.

There's no one to turn to.

The heart is broken,

loneilness,

darkness,

confinement.

I'm falling down a hole and screaming the whole way down!

There's nothing you can do, this is hell!

The blackness takes control of you like a demon.

There is so much sadness.

I'm trying to clime.

But the nightmares drag you back down.

I wish there was somebody to help me,

but no there is nobody.

All alone.

All I can hear is my heart beating, my breath panting,

and the tears are flowing.

What did I do to deserve this?

Then I hear a voice, a voice like an angel.

The sadness fades away, and I have the strength to clime.

Amazing, the sense of decent flows well...down...down...down. Then is the completely visual power of the darkness. For a moment I felt like I was decending into hell with you. I was suprised by the ending. I may have missed it but the lack of possible endings feels melodramatic.

This is so well written, portraying the darkness in which one can be when heart broken , and the little angelic voice is the light and the hope, that's what keep us alive ... so we all should climb, climb, till we find a new day, till we find happiness...

This is a story of survival where one is being sucked down to the bottomless pit of a quicksand. It may be impossible to get out of it but the voice of determination strengthens the will to keep the spirit alive. This depicts life's realities.
