A New Path Ahead

Emotions of being left alone and heart broken ...this poem says it all.

Tears started dropping from my eyes
When there was no one near,
To understand my feelings
And remove my fear.
How miserable I felt when completely left alone,
Playing with my varied emotions , Trying to be on my own.

Did not know why I was shattered!
They joy, the love everything had disappeared…

I realised soon life is not so easy
A pain in my heart I have to carry.

Why when I close my eyes it feels so scary
Thinking about the past makes me unhappy?

Feeling like a bird, locked in cage forever,
Whose chirpings are being listened but is freed never.

Wish if I could have got someone caring,
Who would understand me and stop my crying.

But people are so mean; they can’t wait for a while,
In this busy world they don’t have time to give someone a smile.

Still I admit my hope is not dead,
Rubbing my tears would walk on a new path ahead…
