Never Ceasing Pain

 

Drifting drifting drifting away

A vicious cycle never ending

Consuming those it engulfs

A flame that’s died a passion reduced

A shadow in the background

A wisp in the wind, a blink of an eye

The difference between life or death

Destined to fade, destined to disappear

A heartbeat fades as the sky turns grey

Raindrops like tears fall to the bloodied earth

Water mixed with blood flows like the never ceasing pain

The wounds won’t heal…
