Silence cries in the night

Lonely a heart did stand

Tossing and turning in bed

And there he is just out of reach

Waiting for

Lonely hands lonely lips to meet

I am nobody's girl

No girl to love

No girl to belong to anyone

just the hook up girl

or the hang out girl

The whatever girl

Nobody's w***e

Despite what the messing around would sugguest

Longing for deep affection

Loving arms and smiling faces

He has yet to find me

Or I to find him

The mythical one

The Prince Charming fated to be mine

Destined to be the dream

But i'm not the material for such

I'm not the girl you fall for

Or the girl you love and keep

I'm just the different one

The outcast

I am a lot of things

But not a girlfriend

some day i may be somebody's girl

Maybe today i'll fall head over heels in love

Maybe tomorrow will be that day

Maybe love passed by already

And is just on his way back to find me

For whenever

I can wait

But until that day

I am nobody's girlfriend
