Heart and soul

This is one of two poems that i gave to a girl that i really liked. Didnt go well though. She's still just a friend.

I cannot talk to my heart anymore

But what is this voice telling me to pursue you

I cannot speak to my soul anymore

But why does it hurt when i am not with you

I can feel them, and how they react when youre near

When i think of you, or it's youre voice that i hear

They feel happy and light and fearless too 

That is how i feel when i am with you

Although i cannot talk to my heart anymore

It still talks to me, and it's you i adore
