A Poem by Black

Religions

The witches were the first
the first to be denied,
to be burned
after that, to be sacrificed,

Then it was the Christians turn
To be hunted down like cheap perfume
The eagerness to get them caught
and make them fight like rats against cats

Then the protestants and katholics denied
To have the same one
the same thing they strive,

After that the Jews would be blamed,
By the once that shouldn't be named
and everyone was pointing fingers
but no one was to be blamed

Now the moslims can't do any good
they are spit out,
for one other needs
to be the one, the black sheep

Still we live together,
Neighbour by neighbour,
family or friends

Just overcome those religions,
it doesn't make us enemies,
nothing like an angry serpent
Just believe in what you must
and let us all adjust!

Agreed. The last part of it was true to. Well written and powerful enough to make people think of how dumb the are sometimes.

The last sentence was so very true. Strong and powerful. Well done. I loved it.
