Just what I'm feeling at the moment

I speak 

But it seem to reach no ears

I say what I think

But voices over throw mine

Maybe I should give up?

I listen to you 

Even if you don't do the same

I listen

even if no one is speaking

Maybe I should just stop?

I try to do my best

But some one is always pulling me down

I try to help

But some one is always there before me

I try to try

But I remember 

"Runt" he says

"Mistake" she says

These are the words of my siblings

I always used dismiss

But now I understand

I really am a runt

I really am a mistake

I thank you for that

But I really can't help but think...

It would of been better if I never was born

Better for me...

And better for you

Geez, I hope it was just for the moment. I needed a drink after reading that, I drinking is against my religion.
What I think would be good would be if you wrote another on a good day and post them together. We do all have 'those' days, but we need to remind ourselves; 'this too shall pass'. Perhaps showing both will help those who can definitely relate to this writing, but don't see any hope past that feeling.

I don't know. This is my first time joining this site and I never share my work unless it is for a class and that is only the professor. I am not critiquing your work, only the words. I think the poem is very intense and touching.
