The Dying LightA Poem by LovecraftLife and memories, forgetting what we once knew. The Dying Light has passed on, remembering its kin as if in a fugue. Slowly losing the precious memories, of all it had once known. It moves to and fro in search of new memories but cannot sustain them. The Dying Light starts to forget as soon as it learns, but it yet goes on in hopeless vain, waiting. The Dying Light shines upon everyone, but immediately evaporates like stars during dawn. Suddenly it begins to wither, slowly disappearing by the minute in cascades of dimming sparks of pure white light.
