You have to admit that we all wonder what exactly goes through the minds of the people that are stalkers. I wrote this one a few years back about what I thought they might think. It's kinda like the song "Ominous Man" by the Verve Pipe.

I LOVE THIS. o= It's perfection, really. It was almost comical in stanzas like the third & a little frightening in others! This did a great job capturing the oblivious love that someone can hold for another, and the workings of the mind of a stalker. Wonderful & very rewarding to read!!!!
Interesting perspective. Its all out of love and longing it seems. I would wonder about beauty, control, and ownership. Is it about thier true happiness? Wonderful how the delusion is percieved by the deluded.
holy s**t, wow memories of a not to far gone past, never thought of it like that. this tricks me, keeps me creeped in that kinda watch your back always way, great job especially for getting me to feel so much in the daylight. awesome piece.

Yeah, there were quite a few gramatical errors. I got the ones I saw, thanks for letting me know. I too am not a stalker, but when I tried to put it on paper, I had to write it as if I was in the mindset. I see a stalker as someone who believes that what they feel is genuine love. Their fixation on the object of their affection fuels their desire. They might think themselves beneath them, thus in the begining the more mild and timid stalker, hiding in bushes, looking from afar. A peeping Tom that wants more than just a glace. The stalker creates a fantasy in their head about what the relationship would be, and the pull is so strong that they believe it to be reality. Those last stanza's are the point where the stalkie has began to notice and reject their advances, and thus call the athorities to get rid of the stalker. They never let go of the fantasy and fight to keep it, even while in prison. It's similar to the progression of the Verve Pipe song, "Ominous Man." If you take a look at the first stanza, it seems sweet, but by the time you reach the end of the song, you see the darker/agressive side.
I began writing back in '94 and I've been in love with it ever since. Music has a big influence on how I write, and what topics I choose to write about. I like to write a clever piece every now and th.. more..
