A poem I wrote for my mom a few years ago for her birthday

Mother, Mother Dear
I wish you another happy birthday today
For all that you've done
And what you said

Mother, Mother
I wish I could give you the world
But all I got is a poetic melody in my head
And all the life you've given

Mother, Mother dear
You never gave up
When I could only see the down side
You saw way to a better day

So happy birthday Mother
And I wish you many more
I hope next year will bring you more and more joy

A birthday wish of happiness and bliss
From you little baby boy
