So Sugar

So Sugar

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield

She's cute, I'm not gonna lie
I'm found staring in her general direction
And then the world became clearer
And then it all happened so fast

She was sugar and cream
She was a candy coated dream
Mocha, Caramel, Vanillia have nothing on her
And she has my attention

When I see this delight
I wonder what she thinks at night
Does she dream of a prince like me
Or am I not even a jester in her league
Could those eyes tell me a story that I want to believe
Oh she's so wonderful

She's the violent heart beat, oh so fast
Pulse soaring to new heights
My mind turn to a perfect mess
The only track riding is the one that makes you impressed
And I wonder why she's so perfect
But this is the only instance where I could care less

So sugar, sweet lovely and prestine
I'm little amarous, I'll admit
I want you to be something to me
I want you like you were a dream
I'd never want to wake
My eyes shut to keep you around
But if you were my reality
For sleep I'd never lay down

So sugar, velvet sweet
Come over and make smile
I want you more than anything
'Cause you drive me far beyond wild
