I told him my secrets,

He fed me his lies.

My hate thickens,

As my love dies.

When he pushed for yes

And I said no.

I should have said never

Instead of going with the flow.

When it was time to say goodbye

I learned his fears.

I kept him from hurting others

By bringing him to tears.
