The Devil's Spin

The Devil's Spin

A Poem by BFG
"

Sometimes things don't always turn out to be as they seem, other times there's only one explanation, judgement, is saved for the soul of a good man...

"
The knife on the table, dripping with blood.
His hands under water, flush back to good.

A vessel without motion, lay by his feet.
No life or emotion, just soulless meat.

Accident or victory? No doubt in his eyes.
The prey still beneath him, a perishing prize.

Flashes of blue, dazzle beams of red.
Somebody somewhere, re-connected the thread.

The incarnation of evil, had nowhere to hide.
Awash with cowardliness, an idea in his eyes.

The hand of the devil, met the hand of a gun.
The chamber he span, with the verdict held spun.

A knock at the door, then an axe through wood.
A burst of a crowd, the arrival of good.

The revolving verdict had come to a stop.
The capturing of evil, or one final shot?
