Sanctuary of a Gyspy Girl

Ilona Kali is a gypsy girl in 1482 Paris. Ilona is a street dancer with her musician Kaleb. One day Ilona is accused of being a Gypsy Witch and the King demands that Ilona be burned to death. Kaleb tells Ilona to escape and find sanctuary. Ilona is on the run from the Kings Men and stumbles upon the Cathedrale Notre Dame where she finds refuge. The Cardinal of the church, a young man by the name of Étienne Loïc, was the one to save her from the harsh streets of Paris. The Bishop of the Cathedrale is unhappy about an accused witch staying in the church, but Étienne tells him Jesus would have saved Ilona too. Ilona grows fond of Étienne but knows that her love will never be returned. For who could ever love a gypsy?
