10 Things I Hate About You

This is a piece inspired from the movie "Ten Things I Hate About You" I wrote for a film class I took a while back

I hate the way you talk

And the way you walk

I hate the way you show you care

And the way you’re always there

I hate the way you make me blush

And the way you tell me to shush

I hate the way you see me

And the way you fill me with glee

But most of all, I hate the way I don’t hate you

And somehow I knew that this was a breakthrough

I love the twist in your 2nd last line. For sure I thought this would be a negative poem but you quickly show how the person warmed up to the one they hate... but they don't hate them anymore. That is a sweet twist and I liked that line alot (2nd last line) I love you you rhyme your words together, some of them are unique like " blush, shush " " you, breakthrough" Thanks for sharing Blossom, I enjoyed reading this, I found it to be short, but sweet and powerful too!
