This Lovely Day

My lips got hit this morning
by a man with me in a van
I gave him a smile in return
to stop the non sense fight

I saw my best friend today
the one who discredit me the most
she gave me the look of a demon
I laughed like a child so fool

I've smiled a lot today
to wash all the hate,
all the pain, and sadness
I smiled to this lovely day.
