Pacific Blue

Pacific Blue

A Poem by Jaci

The sea trembled
as it kissed the sand
with a stroke of frothy foam
In its wake there were shells
Tiny gifts for beachcombers hands

I too left something behind
each footprint that I made
slowly filled with water
and with the next salty kiss
they washed away from land
