Roll, fall, shatter

Roll, fall, shatter

A Poem by Kaya
"

Endlessly scooping water out of a sinking boat

"
Eggs roll and fall
I try to catch them
Sometimes they still break, even after caught but It's worth it
save a few
But
No matter how many I catch,
More come down,
And the ones I catch break the ones in my arms

The eggs are rolled, they fall
I use my hands to cover my ears instead
As I helpessly watch the eggs shatter
