Deaf ears won't ever listen

Deaf ears won't ever listen

A Poem by Kaya
"

It's so frustrating to speak to people who only wait till it's their turn to speak

"
My language is foreign, atleast It must be
They show no sign of understanding me
I know what they say, and respond accordingly
But to me, they see, and respond to no degree

I try to find a shared word, to share a way
though you show little interest in my day to day
More drawn to faults, to shadows and all that's grey
thought I could do something to sway your constant way

But now I see, you know this all too well,
You only speak to cast a shadow’s spell.
I find my kin who understand not dwell,
And pity you, trapped in your silent shell.

There’s a quiet hurt in this—like speaking clear as day and still feeling unheard.
I like the grit in that last turn… walking away without noise, leaving them to their own silence.
