Don't hate me, my love

Don't hate me, my love

A Poem by Kaya
"

When I'm with you, it all makes sense. But when we're apart I see clearly

"
Intertwined, sown together
Delicate threads of different colours
Lay and study their strings
One mind, two tones, one heart, too cold
Not properly, but fit if we clung tight

Not properly,
Alas not properly.

Shared love, shared sorrow
Gave a desperate effort
Helplessly, tugging threads tight
Tieing, tugging, for them to not fall
Both tired, bound to fall
But hearts strung together, pains them both to pull apart

I'm sorry, so sorry to be the one to pull apart

Remenicing the way we intertwined
My heart strings cold with a missing place
Maybe you can tell your friends the beautiful patterns we made together
Not the broken piece I left you in

Author's Note

Kaya
I wrote this really quickly with TEARS because they came by my house to return all the gifts I ever made them and I'm actually in shambles.
