Behind Fiery Eyes

Looking in someones eyes....

At first glance I seen fire in her eyes
Afraid to approach assuming cries
A reflection of hurt a pain so deep
A lost soul maybe to hard to keep

Something snapped, I looked again
Change had occurred buried within
I was wrong I now see warmth inside
I body of giving, a love held in pride

Strange how people mistake a glance
Walk away quickly without a chance
Don't see past the shell God created
Just assume what they see is unrelated

This is the person that has love to give
Warmth when you need it, a line to live
Passion so strong and emotions so cries
