Just some of my thoughts running through its course....

Simply Numb

I stood looking into the night sky and moonlight
Dreaming of passion and romance within sight
How it should be a tender moment in time 
Arms wrapped lovingly, a softness sublime

Of kisses given and received so tenderly
Whispers calling a version of love sweetly
With two deep hearts beating softly as one
A passions call that can not be undone

Then I shuttered and reality came back
I'm standing alone, I really lost track
The time came in and took away my soul
Lost loves taking away what was whole

I am left standing with visions in my head
Now fill my heart with emptiness instead
I guess the reality set in for my lost mind
I will be gone soon, in life, there is no rewind.
