Grandma

Grandma

A Poem by Curly Grace
"

Written when I was 12 as a birthday gift for her. In 2000, I had it published in a compilation by the International Library of Poetry. I then gifted her the book. She was tickled. Miss her dearly.

"

Grandma

A grandmother's love is easy to find,
a kind of gift never left behind.
The cause of the joy we all share
is her kindness, love, and care.

She is always doing her part-
no one has a bigger heart.
She truly is a gift to us all,
there to catch us when we fall.

No matter how bad things got,
she was there, and that meant a lot.
So now I’d like to take the time to say:
thank you, Grandma, in every way.

I’m sure this poem written for your Grandma would have thrilled her to bits as well as making a mark in a poetry compilation. She would have been proud.
