Quiet Light

Quiet Light

A Poem by Curly Grace

Did I ever tell you

how deeply you matter,
how your presence
shapes the quiet corners of my heart?

Did I ever thank you
for being the steady shoulder
when my own strength falters,
for the hands that catch me
before I fall too far?

Did I ever tell you
that in your being,
I see light-
an angel walking quietly
through the ordinary days,
making them sacred?

Did I ever thank you
for the warmth you carry,
for the patience, the care,
for simply existing
as the rare, unwavering soul
that you are?
