Where Hearts Begin

Where Hearts Begin

A Poem by Curly Grace

I love you, more than words,

more than the quiet of a morning

that waits for us

to awaken together.

Without you, my world feels hollow,

a sky without stars,

a rhythm missing its pulse.

I remember those days,

hope and laughter tangled with heartbreak,

moments so raw

they left me trembling,

wanting more.

And yet, if all were given again,

I would walk back

to the very first spark,

to the place our hearts collided,

and start again

exactly there.

Not a day passes

without your presence lingering,

a whisper in the air,

a touch I still ache to feel,

how lovely life was

when it was ours.

When I dream of what comes next,

I see your hand in mine,

a future built of soft light,

and love,

perfect, endless,

ours alone.
