Safe Travels Today

A Poem by Curly Grace

The whispers of us linger in the empty spaces,

where your warmth once pressed against me.

I remember your hand on my back,

the fleeting brush of your lips,

the way your scent still clings to the sheets.

It is a memory that breathes,

  not heavy, but alive,

and I carry it with me

like a secret rhythm beneath my ribs.
