If It Finds MeA Poem by Curly GraceSometimes when I read you, there is a line that feels warm in my hands as if it has already known the shape of me. I never quite know whether to hold it or let it drift back into the room with everyone else. You once said that if something were mine you would place it there. I think I am simply learning how to wait for that moment. Until then, I will read gently. And if ever a word is meant to rest against my skin, you need only let me feel that it is safe to keep it.
