The Flame That Still RemainsA Poem by Curly GraceSome beauty is quiet; some fire is eternal. There is a beauty no mirror has ever held no glass has ever remembered It does not live in charm or fleeting applause those things vanish like mist Another beauty walks quietly through hands that build through hearts that forgive through strength that bends and rises She does not wear it as ornament It grows within her like a flame fed by time older than ours seen only by the Eternal Rooted and luminous born in the quiet fear of the Lord And the world may never notice but the heavens whisper “She is fire. She will endure.”
