Heartbroken

Love is a funny thing,

ever fleeting,

never seen.

Once you're bitten, you

cannot escape

the web it casts

over the tender heart.

Once you awaken

from the sleepless dreams

you will find yourself, once again

in that tragic cycle.

Boy can I relate to this one. This is a great way to depict the broken heart and the continuous cycle we can go through if we don't gaurd ourselves from something that can come along so easily. Nice poem.
