Hope

It's not optimistic

Let the sky mourn for past sunny days

Let the thunder rumble in memory of lightning

Let the raindrops cry for their little selves

that crash and disappear instantly

Hoping there will be a rainbow, even when the sun will never shine again

The clouds will dissipate

uncovering all the disappointments

still, like the raindrops, little selves continue to crash

onto the cold pavement of humanity.
